Communication eXtra is an independent and specialised NDIS Support Coordination provider supporting members of the Deaf and hard of hearing community with their NDIS Plans. We ensure that our clients are able to understand their NDIS Plans, how to use their Plans, and have the help they need to begin using their plans effectively.

Why We Do What We Do
Communication eXtra are here to help Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing people to understand and get the most benefit from their NDIS plans.
Communication eXtra Was Established Because We Believe:
- Australia has a real need for an independent Deaf-led Support Coordination service to work with Deaf people and people with communication barriers.
- Our bilingual team who know Auslan and other forms of communication are equipped with the skills that many other Support Coordinators are not to save you money in your plan
- People with communication barriers are comfortable discussing their NDIS Plans and their support needs with a Support Coordinator who fully understands their needs, who is able to fully communicate with them, and who is NOT affiliated with other support providers or services
- Connecting with people on webcam has proven to be very successful, and means we can offer effective Support Coordination for many people no matter where they live
- There is a growing number of providers working with people with communication barriers, and many do not know who these providers are. Communication eXtra supports people to access providers they were not aware of before
